What is a Creative Agency and why should I use one?
A Creative Agency is a small hub of talented individuals who have different specialisms, to give the customers the best skills possible to make their business dreams come true. From Graphic Designers to Web Designers, Developers, Photographers, Content Creators – if we don’t do it internally, we have an awesome network of other creatives who can help!
Why use a creative agency? When using a design firm, or web firm – you get just that. Designers who often don’t do web or digital, and web designers who are usually mostly developers. Here we have it all to make sure your business looks as great as it is.
Who do you work with?
We have produced creative projects for lots of different industries so far, and we don’t say no to anything that’s not illegal! From education, to retailers, fashion designers, wedding companies, dog walking services, swim schools, car manufacturers, insurance brokers, accountants, portfolios, games design and more.
Worried your not on the list? No worries. We fully research into your industry and business to make sure we understand it as best we can, and most importantly – we listen to you. You know your audience better than most and we use that knowledge to make sure we represent you properly.
What if we aren't located near you?
No problem. We use Skype as 90% of our communication with clients and only 10% in person. Everything we do can be done online – meetings, draft emails, file sharing, amendment comments, time tracking, you name it! We work with clients all over the globe and are happy to Skype (or Zoom) early in the morning or late at night depending on your requirements.
We want you to do it all, is that possible?
Of course. From brand creation to ongoing designs, website development, launch marketing, print media, social media marketing – we can be your marketing team from a remote location. We understand that not all businesses can afford, or NEED a full time marketing team, and this is where we come in. We can be hired on retainers giving you a set monthly time allowance when we will concentrate solely on your designs and services.
How much will it cost?
That purely depends on what you want. We do full packages to little leaflet jobs, all of our work is calculated at an hourly rate and we have set prices for print products, all you need to do is ask for the product you need and we will be happy to give you a no obligation quote.
I've booked my services, how do I pay?
All payment information will be given to you in your invoice, due 21 days from the date it’s sent.
Payment is always via bank transfer and usually works as follows:
- Branding: 50% upfront, 50% before file handover
- Graphic Design: 100% upfront
- Web Design: Depending on the package, 30-50% upfront, 40-25% upon design completion, final payment before launch.
- Social Media (Monthly) Management: 100% monthly costs 2 weeks prior to 1st of each month, plus advertising credit.
- Social Media Packages: 60% (3/6/12 month) package cost upfront, 40% after 1-3 months depending on package length.
Alternatively, if you have a great marketing budget and would like to pay upfront, please let us know in advance so we can invoice you for the full amount. Please note we don’t take IOU’s or loyalty cards (yes, we’ve been asked!).
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please let us know as soon as possible. If any work has been carried out on a project after we’ve had the GREEN LIGHT from you to commence the project, then we will need to charge for it (or at least some of it depending on the time spent on your project).
Of course, if we haven’t started then there will be no charge.
Do you offer printing?
Yes. We don’t print in house, but we work with local suppliers and get better rates than most commercial printers out there. If you’d like to take advantage, please ask us for a quote!
Had your designs done through us too? Get 10% your printing, because we love to pass on a great deal!
What is the process of booking your design services?
We will go through a thorough brief with you for larger projects and have a Skype (or Zoom) meeting.
Our projects then go through an initial design stage, you get three amendment stages (more or less amendment stages can be quoted for upon request) and then a final production stage – getting your designs ready for print, social or web. This process can vary slightly depending on the nature of the project.
I know I need a website. Now what?
Once you have made the decision to have a website designed and developed we ask you to consider a few things:
- Your audience – who are you targeting?
- Your goals – what do you want your website to do?
- Your investment – consider ongoing annual costs (domain, hosting, management) and set a realistic budget for what you want to invest in a website from the get go.
- Your deadline – when do you want to be up and running? (Websites can take anything from 4 weeks +)
- Branding – do you have a brand? Do you want to use it or update it for this project?
- Launch Marketing – once your site is up, then what? We can help you launch your site and manage your social media!

How long will it take to create?
How much will a website cost me?
That all depends on lots of factors, such as what features you would like. You can find more information about our website packages on our Web Design page. Please note that prices are subject to adjustment depending on any add on’s you may want for your site.
Hosting can be supplied at $150 per year, with domain prices at approx $40 for 24 months (for .com.au domains).
Website Management can be added to your package, pricing will depend on the level of management required.
What is Hosting, Domains and Management?
A Domain Name is the name of your website, your URL – what people will type in to access your website. Prices start at $40 per 24months and this is an ongoing cost.
Hosting is what keeps your website online! It’s an annual cost. You can host through your own hosting site, or you can host through us at $150 per year, meaning we will invoice you and you don’t need to worry about the techy stuff!
Website Management is whatever you want it to be. Don’t get on with WordPress? Can’t be bothered to learn how to update the site yourself? No problem, we offer monthly solutions – from wordpress & plugin updates to uploading your content, sharing and scheduling your blog posts and updating your images.
What website platform (CMS) do you use?
We build predominantly on WordPress as it allows us to do everything we need it to. We create sites based on a theme of your choice, but we prefer to use DIVI – a Visual builder that gives you more freedom with your site designs.
However, if you REALLY don’t get on with WordPress, we can create you a simple to use drag and drop site on Wix.com or Squarespace, no problem. We will discuss these costs with you.
Can I sell products on my website?
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Yes, we build using responsive design to ensure all of our sites work and look great on all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles.
Will you train me to use my website CMS?
Yes we provide all of our clients training on WordPress via Skype or Zoom.
What is CMS?
A content management system (CMS) allows you to update and maintain your website without any additional software or tech skills. Using a CMS (or ‘Backend’ system) you can add new pages, upload images and change your site’s content. You don’t need anything but an internet connection and access to a computer!
Do you write the content for my website?
We don’t usually include content creation, but we do have access to some savvy writers who will make your business sound as amazing as it is and it will even help your SEO!
What is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation which is the process of getting traffic to your website from the free/organic search results on search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo. These search engines have primary search results, where web pages and other content (such as local listings, google my business, social media links) are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users.
We optimise all of your pages in YOAST SEO (through WordPress) to work best for your business. We submit your url (website) to Google, Bing and Yahoo and can even help you track your Analytics and advise how to register your business on Google.
